Erika Humphreys, PMHNP

I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who treats patients across the lifespan. I have over 20 years experience working in the mental health field, in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings. I received my assiociate nursing degree from The College of Southern Maryland, bachelor's nursing degree from Capella University, and master's degree from the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program at Massachusetts College of Health Sciences. I am certified in psychedelic therapy and integration. In 2023 I published a research paper on the effectiveness of treating anxiety with reiki in The Journal of Behavior Therapy and Mental Health.

I utilize a holistic approach to patient treatment, as I believe the best outcomes are obtained from a multimodal treatment plan. I listen with compassion and tailor my interventions to each patient's unique needs. I aim to help empower my patients to find healing, wellness and inner peace so they can achieve their full potential. I am licensed to treat patients in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC.
